Fees and Refunds

A fee summary will be provided prior to enrolment. Students will be advised of the fee for each of the selected units as well as the total training cost.

Under certain circumstances, refunds may apply to students who have paid the required training fees, but for certain reasons are unable to complete the training program.

Should Smartskill cancel any training program, all participants are entitled to a full refund or a transfer of the funds paid to another current or future training program.

Any fee payable by the individual, group or employer must be paid in full prior to the commencement of the course of study unless the training is an identified studentship program, management approval has been obtained or in line with contractual arrangements.

A deposit of 50% is required when booking a course place.

If a participant cancels or transfers a course or part of a course more than two weeks prior to commencement an administration fee equal to 50% of the deposit will be charged and the remainder of fees refunded or credited to the amended booking

If the enrolment is cancelled by the student less than 14 days prior to the course commencement, the deposit will not be refunded, however we will endeavour to offer an appropriate training alternative at no additional cost.

Refunds may be sought and negotiated on an individual basis with Management in exceptional circumstances.

Cancellation for the training program will only be accepted in writing. The date of cancellation will be determined as the postal date of the correspondence.

The student will be notified of the refund in writing. A refund will be issued within fourteen (14) days of the receipt and acceptance of the cancellation.
